CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 770 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 761 WHICH PLACED <br /> APPROXIMATELY A FiVE-ACRE PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED <br /> IMMEDIATELY EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD AND NORTH OF VALLEY <br /> AVENUE INTO AN INTERIM "S" (STUDY) DISTRICT AS SHO~M <br /> ON ZONING UNIT MAP NO. 146 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 761 (An Ordinance Placing Approximately a <br />5-Acre Parcel Located Immediately East of Hopyard Road and North <br />of Valley Avenue into an Interim "S" (Study) District, as shown on <br />Zoning Unit Map No. 146, and Adopting said Ordinance as an Urgency <br />Measure) was passed on May 27, 1975, placing said property shown <br />on Zoning Unit Map No. 146, approximately five acres in size into <br />an "S" (Study) District; and <br /> WHEREAS, §65858 of the Government Code allows a legislative body, <br /> after giving the requisite notice and holding a public hearing, <br /> authority to extend an interim ordinance for an additional eight <br /> (8) months, said extension requiring a four-fifths vote by the <br /> City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the requisite notice pursuant to §65858 was published and <br /> a public hearing was held on September 22, 1975; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The provisions of Ordinance No. 761, adopted on May 27 <br /> 1975, are hereby continued for an additional eight (8) <br /> months. <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect immediatel <br /> upon its passage and adoption and shall be of no further <br /> force and effect eight months after its adoption unless <br /> extended by law, or unless, prior to expiration, the <br /> <br />! City Council enacts legislation changing the property <br /> shown in Zoning Unit Map No. 146, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A, to a different zoning classification- <br /> Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper <br /> <br /> <br />
