RESOLUTION NO. 15-792 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE MODIFICATION TO THE APPROVED SITE PLAN AND <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ELIMINATE THE EXISTING CHURCH AND <br /> ITS RELATED USES, AND TO RETAIN THE EXISTING PRESCHOOL AND <br /> PRIVATE SCHOOL FACILITY AS A STANDALONE USE WITH A MODIFIED <br /> OPERATION AND SITE PLAN LOCATED AT 3410-3450 CORNERSTONE <br /> COURT, AS FILED UNDER CASE NOS. P15-0390 AND P15-0250, <br /> RESPECTIVELY <br /> WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes II, Inc. filed for modifications to the approved site <br /> plan and Conditional Use Permit to eliminate the existing Centerpointe Presbyterian Church and <br /> its related uses, and to retain the existing preschool and private school facility as a standalone <br /> use with a modified operation and site plan located at 3410-3450 Cornerstone Court; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting on August 12, 2015, the Planning Commission <br /> recommended approval of these modifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its regular meeting of October 6, 2015, the City Council received <br /> a report from the Director of Community Development, together with a copy of the staff <br /> report to the Planning Commission, regarding this matter; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was <br /> adopted for the proposed modifications by the City Council on October 6, 2015; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a regular public hearing on October 6, 2015, at <br /> which time the applicant and other members of the public were offered an opportunity to <br /> present evidence regarding the proposed modifications. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. It approves the modifications to the approved site plan and <br /> Conditional Use Permit to eliminate the existing church and its related uses and to <br /> retain the existing preschool and private school facility with a modified operation and <br /> site plan as a standalone use, subject to the conditions as shown in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto and made part of this resolution by this reference. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on October 6, 2015. <br />
