Q. How long will we stay at our current location? <br /> A. It likely will take 18 to 24 months before we can close on the sale of the land to Ponderosa and the <br /> sale of the preschool parcel. Within this time frame, we will begin analyzing and looking at properties <br /> for our new church home and a move would occur sometime after the land sales are completed. To <br /> protect our financial assets, we would not complete any transaction for a new church home before the <br /> sale of the existing property is completed. <br /> Q. When will we know about the lease of the preschool and the ultimate sale? How will that <br /> affect Sunday school? <br /> A. Our teams are working diligently on the lease/sale of the preschool. It is our desire to reach a <br /> successful conclusion as quickly as possible. As soon as we have an agreement, we will announce it <br /> to you. In negotiating a lease, we are ensuring that we have access to use the facilities on weekends <br /> for Sunday school and other events. We will not able to use the Sunday school classrooms 1-6, <br /> Rooms 7-8 or CenterPerk anytime Monday— Friday thus necessitating the need for our own ministry <br /> groups as well as outside groups to make other arrangements. We will work with each group to <br /> accommodate them as much as we can. We anticipate that the ultimate sale of the preschool might <br /> conclude at the same time that the Ponderosa sale is complete 18-24 months from now. <br /> Q. Are we taking anything with us? <br /> A. We intend to sell the Sprung building structure (taking all of the contents, equipment and <br /> furnishings with us). In addition, everything else that is not sold as part of the land or preschool deals <br /> will be preserved and re-utilized as appropriate. <br /> Q. During the lease period, do we still maintain the overall property? <br /> A. The preschool operator will have certain maintenance obligations and we will retain some as well. <br /> We will be responsible for maintaining the remainder of the church property until it is sold. <br /> Q. Will we have to move to a temporary facility? <br /> A. It is too early to be certain, but we are working toward arranging all of the elements in such a way <br /> that we can move from this location to our new church home without the need for an interim location. <br /> As we know more, we will of course inform you. <br /> Page 4 <br /> www.centerpointechurch.org <br />
