CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-104 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MEASURE D RECYCLING FUNDS TO <br />SUPPORT RECYCLING INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS AT VARIOUS <br />LOCAL SCHOOL SITES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 2003, the Deputy City Manager presented a staff <br /> report (SR 03:252) describing the recommendations for use of the Measure D <br /> Recycling Funds to implement the Go-Green Initiative at various local school <br /> sites. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement <br />awarding a $45,000 grant in Measure D recycling funds to the Pleasanton Parent <br />Teachers Association (PTA) to implement the Go-Green Initiative at various PTA <br />certified school sites. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby appropriates an additional $45,000 in Measure D <br />recycling funds to the City's 2003/2004 Operat'mg Budget to fund recycling <br />initiatives and programs at non-PTA school sites. <br /> <br /> <br />
