RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> REQUESTING THAT THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> AUTHORIZE PORTAL TO PORTAL REIMBURSEMENT TO THE LIVERMORE <br /> PLEASANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department is a public agency located in the <br /> County of Alameda, State of California, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the Livermore Pleasanton's Fire Department desire to provide fair and <br /> legal payment to all its employees for time worked; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has in its employ, Fire <br /> department response personnel that includes the following positions: Fire Chief, Deputy Fire <br /> Chief, Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, Engineer, Firefighter/Paramedic, Firefighter/EMT. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has and will continue to <br /> compensate its employees portal to portal while in the course of their employment and away <br /> from their official duty station and assigned to an emergency incident, in support of an <br /> emergency incident, or pre-position for emergency response; and <br /> SECTION 2: The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has and will continue to <br /> compensate its employees overtime in accordance with their current Memorandum of <br /> Understanding while in the course of their employment and away from their official duty station <br /> and assigned to an emergency incident, in support of an emergency incident, or pre-positioned <br /> for emergency response; and <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on August 18, 2015 <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the , by the following <br /> vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />
