structures or otherwise except that riding trails, hiking trails, picnic areas, stables and similar amenities may be placed in natural open space pur- suant to the approval of an H-P-D permit. (3) Landscaping. The H-P-D permit shall include the planting of newly created banks or slopes for erosion control or to minimize their visual effect. Section 4. Section 2-5.05 (Districts), Article 1, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by 'the inclusion of the following designation: H-P-D Hillside Planned Development District. Section 5. Section 2-6.14 (Conditional Uses), Article 5, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleas- anton is amended by the addition of a new subsection to read as follows: 1. Any grading requiring a permit by Section 7006 of the Building Code of the City of Pleasanton on property having a weighted incremental slope, as defined in Article 32 of this chapter, of 10 per cent or greater. This subsection shall not apply ko any recorded lot or to any property on which an approved tentative map exists at -the effective date of 'this ordinance. Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. Section 7. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIES," a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton.
