CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 763 <br /> <br /> AN ORDIN~qCE AMENDING SECTION 2-5.05, 2-6.14 AND <br /> SECTION 2-5.36, CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT) AND THE ADDITION 'OF ARTICLE 32 <br /> (HILLSIDE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT [H-P-D] ) TO <br /> CHAPTER 2, TITLE I I OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALL RELATING TO HILLSIDE <br /> DEVELOPMENT. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Subsection 2b (Hillside Sites in R-1 Districts), <br />Section 2-5.36 (Site Area and Dimensions: Requirements and <br />Exceptions), Article 3 (Site, Yard, Bulk, Usable Open Space and <br />Screening and Landscaping Regulations), Chapter 2 (Zoning), <br />Title II (Zoning and Development) of ~he Ordinance Code of the <br />City of Pleasanton is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "b. In the R-1-20,000 and R-1-40,000 Districts, <br /> for each one foot difference in elevation greater than <br /> 20 feet between points A and B, as described in this <br /> article, 'the minimum required site area shall be in- <br /> creased by ten percent (10%) . '~ <br /> <br /> Section 2. Section 2-5.36 (Site Area and Dimensions: <br />Requirements and Exceptions), Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II <br />of 'the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by <br />the addition of Subsection 2e to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "e. All properties placed in a hillside planned <br /> development (H-P-D) District shall be developed pursuant <br /> to the provisions of Article 32 of 'this chapter." <br /> <br /> Section 3. Article 32 (Hillside Planned Development Dis- <br />tric~ [H-P-D] ) is added to Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning <br />and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Article 32. Hillside Planned Development District (H-P-D). <br /> <br /> Section 2-2.3201. Intention and Purpose. <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton is located in the Livermore- <br /> Amador Valley.
