CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 763 AN ORDIN~qCE AMENDING SECTION 2-5.05, 2-6.14 AND SECTION 2-5.36, CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) AND THE ADDITION 'OF ARTICLE 32 (HILLSIDE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT [H-P-D] ) TO CHAPTER 2, TITLE I I OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALL RELATING TO HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection 2b (Hillside Sites in R-1 Districts), Section 2-5.36 (Site Area and Dimensions: Requirements and Exceptions), Article 3 (Site, Yard, Bulk, Usable Open Space and Screening and Landscaping Regulations), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of ~he Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended to read as follows: "b. In the R-1-20,000 and R-1-40,000 Districts, for each one foot difference in elevation greater than 20 feet between points A and B, as described in this article, 'the minimum required site area shall be in- creased by ten percent (10%) . '~ Section 2. Section 2-5.36 (Site Area and Dimensions: Requirements and Exceptions), Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of 'the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by the addition of Subsection 2e to read as follows: "e. All properties placed in a hillside planned development (H-P-D) District shall be developed pursuant to the provisions of Article 32 of 'this chapter." Section 3. Article 32 (Hillside Planned Development Dis- tric~ [H-P-D] ) is added to Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to read as follows: Article 32. Hillside Planned Development District (H-P-D). Section 2-2.3201. Intention and Purpose. The City of Pleasanton is located in the Livermore- Amador Valley.
