These requirements shall be printed on the site, grading, and landscape plans where applicable to the satisfaction of the Director of Community Development. 33. In the event that human remains are discovered during grading or construction, work shall stop immediately. There shall be no disposition of such human remains, other than in accordance with the procedures and requirements set forth in California Health and Safety Code Section 7050.5 and Public Resources Section 5097.98. These code provisions require notification of the County Coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission, who in turn must notify the persons believed to be most likely descended from the deceased Native American for appropriate disposition of the remains. The applicant/developer shall implement construction best management practices to reduce construction noise, including: a) Locate stationary construction equipment as far from adjacent occupied buildings as possible. b) Select routes for movement of construction-related vehicles and equipment so that noise-sensitive areas, including residences and outdoor recreation areas, are avoided as much as possible. Include these routes in materials submitted to the City of Pleasanton for approval prior to the issuance of building permits. c) All site improvements and construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. In addition, no construction shall be allowed on State and federal holidays. If complaints are received regarding the Saturday construction hours, the Community Development Director may modify or revoke the Saturday construction hours. The Community Development Director may allow earlier "start times" for specific construction activities (e.g., concrete foundation/floor pouring), if it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Community Development Director that the construction and construction traffic noise will not affect nearby residents. Prior to construction, the hours of construction shall be posted on site. d) All construction equipment must meet DMV and City noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. e) Designate a noise disturbance coordinator who will be responsible for responding to complaints about noise during construction. The telephone number of the noise disturbance coordinator shall be conspicuously posted at the construction site and shall be provided to the City of Pleasanton.
