teir ii 4b9.3 <br /> 8-12-74 <br /> CY <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> DESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY TO BE <br /> ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 68 <br /> All that certain real property situated in the Township of Pleasanton, County <br /> of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line of County Road No. 7794, <br /> 60 feet in width, commonly known as Mohr Avenue, formerly known as Pleasanton <br /> Avenue with the westerly line of that certain strip of land, 50 feet in width, <br /> described in Parcel 71 of that certain deed from Spring Valley Water Company <br /> to City and County of San Francisco, recorded March 3, 1930, in Book 2350 of <br /> Official Records, Page 1 , Alameda County Records; thence along said westerly <br /> line South 0° 15'55" West,(the bearing of said westerly line of said strip of <br /> land being taken as South 0° 15' 55" West for the purpose of making this des- <br /> cription)a distance of 1254.19 feet to a point thereon; thence in a direct <br /> line North 88° 00' 35" West, a distance of 223.79 feet more or less to the <br /> northeasterly line of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company right-of- <br /> way, 100 feet in width; thence continuing along said direct line North 88° 00' <br /> 35" West, a distance of 153.02 feet, more or less, to the southwesterly line <br /> of said right-of-way, said southwesterly line also being the general easterly <br /> boundary line of that certain territory annexed to the City of Pleasanton under <br /> Ordinance No. 379 of the City of Pleasanton City Council , a map of which <br /> territory was filed March 5, 1964, in Map Book 43 at page 40A, Alameda <br /> County Records; thence northwesterly along said southwesterly right-of-way <br /> line to the intersection thereof with the direct production southerly of the <br /> westerly line of Oakland Avenue, 60 feet in width, as said avenue is delineated <br /> and so designated on that certain map entitled "The Oakland Land and Improvement <br /> Company's Subdivision of the Santa Rita Rancho", etc. , filed January 4, 1388, <br /> in Map Book 9, at page 12, Alameda County Records; thence northerly along said <br /> production southerly of said westerly line to the intersection thereof with the <br /> aforementioned southerly line of Mohr Avenue; thence northeasterly along last <br /> mentioned line to the Point of Beginning. <br /> Containing 29.696 acres of land more or less <br /> Prepared by the firm of <br /> MACKAY & SOMPS <br /> Pleasanton <br />
