CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-178 <br /> RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION #68 TO THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAJORITY <br /> PROTEST ON OCTOBER 30 , 1974 <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Pleasanton has been requested by the owner <br /> of the Busch-DeVor Property to annex said property to the <br /> City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, said property consists of uninhabited territory compris- <br /> ing approximately 25 . 4 acres bounded on the north by <br /> Mohr Avenue, by the Southern Pacific Railroad on the west, <br /> said property being more particularly described in <br /> Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, said request for annexation was transmitted to the Local <br /> Agency Formation Commission pursuant to §54797 of the <br /> Government Code; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Local Agency Formation Commission, at its meeting of <br /> August 29 , 1974 , approved this annexation to the City of <br /> Pleasanton of the 25 . 4+ acres belonging to Busch-DeVor, <br /> as well as an additional 4 . 2 acres , more or less, consist- <br /> ing of railroad right of way belonging to Southern Paci- <br /> fic Railroad Company; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Government Code Section 35305, the City <br /> Council has received a petition filed by land owner of <br /> the Busch Property; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 35305, it is necessary <br /> for the City Council to adopt a resolution giving notice <br /> of proposed annexation and setting a public hearing for <br /> majority protests . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 . Notice is hereby given of the proposed annexation of <br />
