CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-172 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CERTIFICATE OF <br /> PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY FOR THE <br /> OPERATION OF A TAXI CAB SERVICE WITHIN THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON BY MR. DAKOTA McGINNIS , <br /> SR. , DBA McGUINNIS AND ACAMO, INC . <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council , at its meeting of April 8 , 1974 <br /> held a public hearing and issued a Certificate of <br /> Public Convenience and Necessity pursuant to the <br /> City's taxi cab ordinance for purposes of operating <br /> a Yellow Cab Service in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant doing business as Pleasanton Yellow <br /> Cab Company was one, Mr. Steven Paich; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Paich has recently sold his business to Mr . <br /> McGuinnis; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. McGuinnis is interested in operating a taxi cab <br /> service within the City of Pleasanton in conjunction <br /> with a taxi cab service to be operated in other <br /> areas of the Tri-Valley area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the necessary police investigation and report has <br /> been prepared pursuant to the aforementioned ordin- <br /> ance and a positive recommendation has been received <br /> by the Pleasanton Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. McGuinnis has requested that a Certificate of <br /> Public Convenience and Necessity issued to Mr . Paich <br /> be transferred to himself doing business as McGuinnis <br /> and Acamo, Inc. ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. McGuinnis is requesting a closed stand for the <br /> operation of his taxi service; and <br />
