�� CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 74-161 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND PLEASANTON FIREFIGHTERS I.A.F.F. LOCAL 1974 AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1974 THRU JULY 31, 1975 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and the Pleasanton Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1974 have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500 , et seq. , of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Firefighters IAFF Local 1974 ; and WHEREAS, as a result of the meeting and conferring process a Memorandum of Understanding dated August 22 , 1974 was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters IAFF Local 1974 ; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at a regular meeting on August 26, 1974 ; and WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that the Memorandum of Under standing is for the period July 1, 1974 thru July 31, 1975 and contains certain benefits to be granted to employees I represented by International Association of Firefighters Local 1974 during the term of said agreement; and WHEREAS, there are employees not represented by the Pleasanton Firefighters IAFF Local 1974 to whom the City Council wishes to provide salary adjustments and benefits in order that all employees are treated fairly; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of Pleasanton Firefighters IAFF Local 1974 dated August 2.2 , 1974, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference is hereby accepted by the
