Currently, a proposal has been made by the property's current
owner Greenbrier Homes. This proposal is currently under consideration by the Pleasanton Planning Commission. Provisions of
Measure PP are being applied to Lund Ranch 2.
Structure vs. Infrastructure? This is still unresolved. Sewer pipes are below grade structures as defined by those who have taken the
definition of structure to be"anything man-made"or"engineered".
The EIR for the property makes no mention or comment that the sanitary sewer connection rights are owned by individuals(Lund). Not
by the current property owner(GHC Lund Ranch LLC).
The City Council does not have the information necessary to make an informed decision. The following documents and/or contracts
should be available for public comment:
1) Contract between Lund and DSRSD
2) Contract between Lund and LAVWMA
3) Contract(s)between Lund and Shea Homes
4) Contract(s)regarding the 1998 sale of the property to Greenbrier Homes
5) Sewer connection points between the proposed development and existing sanitary sewer pipes.
Development of Lund Ranch 2 has been very controversial.
Pleasanton should provide notice of any action or item related to the Lund Family, Lund Ranch Property,or development of Lund
Ranch.
No notice was given to residents regarding this significant item related to the development of Lund Ranch 2.
A sewer is just as important as a road.
No Road=No Development
No Sewer=No Development
Sincerely:
John Bauer
Resident of South Pleasanton
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
