CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 760 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING P.U.D. 73-2 TO ALLOW THE ADDITION <br /> OF A SECOND FLOOR TO THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING LOCATED ON <br /> THE NORTH SIDE OF VALLEY AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 590 FEET <br /> WEST OF SANTA RITA ROAD, SAID APPROVAL BEING SUBJECT TO <br /> COMPLIANCE WITH CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN PLANNING COMMIS- <br /> SION RESOLUTION #1333 DATED FEBRUARY 13, 1975 <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. P.U.D. 73-2, which was approved by the Planning Com- <br />mission by Resolution No. 1265 on November 14, 1973, is hereby <br />amended to allow on the property designated C-N (Commercial Neigh- <br />borhood) District, the addition of a second floor to the commer- <br />cial building located in said district on the north side of Valley <br />Avenue approximately 590 feet west of Santa Rita Road. The <br />approval of this amendment to P.U.D.73-2 is based on staff reports <br />to City Council dated April 22, 1975, and is subject to compliance <br />by property owner with the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the revision be exactly as shown on the site plan and <br /> elevations, Exhibit A, with the exception that the second- <br /> story be set back 10 feet from the western PL of the <br /> shopping center, and that approval of this revision in no <br /> way be construed to indicate approval of any other revi- <br /> sion to the final approved plan for PUD-73-2. <br /> <br /> 2. That the revisions shall be subject to all applicable con- <br /> ditions of Ordinance No. 719 under which PUD 73-2 was <br /> approved and which is included here by reference. <br /> <br /> 3. That approval of this revision is subject to the approval <br /> of UP-74-22 by the City. <br /> <br /> 4. That the developer be reminded that sanitary sewer service <br /> is not available to service the second floor addition and <br /> that he must apply for and be granted a holding tank to <br /> accommodate this expansion before construction can begin. <br /> <br /> 5. That the western elevation of the proposed addition be re- <br /> designed to modify or eliminate the windows shown and <br /> that this revised elevation be approved by the Planning <br /> Department prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br /> 6. That all offices and store spaces in building number 4 be <br /> provided with burglar alarm systems and that these system~ <br /> be approved by the Police Department prior to installa- <br /> tion; and <br /> <br /> 7. That the ice machine in front of the 7-11 Store be <br /> removed or effectively screened from public view. <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty days <br /> <br /> <br />
