410 410 <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> it COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> IIRESOLUTION NO. 74-137 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE INTERIM CIVIC CENTER BUILDING <br /> FROM THE CITY OF PLEASANTON PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPORATION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton formed a non-profit corporation <br /> known as the City of Pleasanton Public Facilities Corpora- <br /> tion; and <br /> WHEREAS, said corporation caused to be constructed a facility <br /> known as Interim Civic Center of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> 11 and <br /> ' WHEREAS, under the terms of the facility lease executed between the <br /> parties , the City of Pleasanton was authorized to occupy <br /> the building prior to its completion; and <br /> (jWHEREAS, the City occupied the facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, said corporation caused a notice of completion to be filed <br /> I� with the Alameda County Recorder; and <br /> +- WHEREAS, it is in order for the City to accept the Interim Civic <br /> Center Building from the City of Pleasanton Public <br /> Facilities Corporation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council accepts from the City of Pleasanton <br /> Public Facilities Corporation the facility known as In- <br /> terim Civic Center Building for the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Section 2. The City of Pleasanton shall, pursuant to the terms of <br /> its facility lease, be obligated for the care, mainten- <br /> ance, payment of rent and other obligations set forth in <br /> I, <br /> the terms of said lease. <br /> it Section 3 . The City Council wishes to commend the members of the <br /> Board of Directors of the City of Pleasanton Public Facil- <br /> ities Corporation for their assistance in obtaining this <br /> new facility and commend said body for its civic respon- <br /> sibility. <br />
