As having being involved since the inception of Summerhill's proposal I am pleased with the change in ordinance to lower the density. I urge you to make it official. 2. My concern, as is others, is with the water consumption which will be brought on with constructing the development and the increased population. My sense/belief is that all construction, which imposes a long term increased usage of water, should be halted until the water tables and water reservoirs have been refilled. With two large apartment developments opening up for occupancy in the near future (by Safeway and St. Anton's) I would encourage the permitting withheld until further notice. 3. The "Unit Sizes" (page 5) are heavily stacked with 3 bedroom units. I would encourage a more balanced housing development with more 2 bedroom units. 4. The removal of 62 trees for various reasons should be stated in the replacement of the property. 5. Encourage, if possible, that current residents of Pleasanton be given priority in application for low income purchase of dwellings. 6. Would appreciate reduce construction time by having no work on the weekends or 2 Saturdays/month at the most. If not, stipulate low noise level guidelines' of work on the weekend.
