tutcl uticJ) • Cintplaf c . 0-Lott _ i9.1 LA - 4 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74 -117 <br />RESOLUTION AUTIHORIZING CIIMGES IN THE WORK TO <br />BE MADE BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUk3LIC WORKS OF TIIE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON IN CONNECTION WITH ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1974 -4, STONERIDGE CENTER, CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AL'\MEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California, as follows: <br />The Director of Public Works without further authorization <br />of the City Council is hereby authorized to order changes in the <br />work to be done in Assessment District No. 1974 -4, Stoneridge Center, <br />City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, under the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />To correct clerical and technical errors in the plans; <br />To modify the design of the project wherever good <br />engineering practice indicates that the modification <br />should be made; <br />To adjust the design of the project to utility loca- <br />tions, soil conditions, and other field conditions <br />which were unknown or uncertain at the time the plans <br />were prepared. <br />HOWEVER, the Director,of Public Works shall not be auth- <br />orized to approve change orders resulting in the increase in con- <br />struction costs aggregating more than the amount of contingencies <br />provided for in the Amended Engineer's Report heretofore approved <br />by this City Council. <br />* <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and <br />regularly adopted by the City Council of the City.of Pleasanton, Alameda <br />County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 29th. day <br />of May, 1974, by the following vote, to wit: <br />AYES: Councilmegtbers Herlihy, Kinney, LeClaire, Philcox and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: Councilmen TOr® <br />ABSENT: Councilmen None' <br />APPRO "ED AS TO FORM <br />f(??flailf C.
