Subject: FW: EPSP vote Provided to the City Council
After Distribution of Packet
From: Cain family [ 6 -Z--u d
Sent: Monday, June 01, 2015 9:37 PM Date
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject: EPSP vote
Dear Mayor and Council Members,
We were present at the last City Council meeting and were part of the show-of-hands for the numerous
negative points regarding the EPSP: we oppose the project for further planning due to the serious concerns
that such a development would drastically negatively impact the quality of life for the current residents of our
fine city. We also attended the city and developer presentations as well.
We urge you to consider moving the issue to the next ballot, for 2016. That is reasonable as it will allow time
for appropriate organization such that the issue can be addressed properly, and from what we have been told,
at a lower cost to our city.
We also support the decision to stop the process of the EIR at this time, as it makes no sense to change that
part of the council's vote.
We absolutely feel that to change the recorded vote by dropping the plan to take this to the voters for
advisory approval would be an extreme violation of the trust placed in the council, and while it is acceptable to
change the process to a later date by placing the vote on the ballot for 2016,to drop the plan of placing the
issue on the ballot would be an egregious error.
Janice and Gary Cain
Click here to report this email as Spam.
1
