I believe it would be premature to attempt to put anything to vote until a complete plan for
this massive addition of housing units (including what the total number is, water issues, traffic, how students will gain
access to schools at the time of occupancy of their new home)to our city based on the has been fully addressed. As a
downtown resident, I already experience many of the problems with traffic congestion and parking. As a mother of
children in the public school system, I have experienced my children can not get the classes they want in High School
because there is not enough room (impacted classes). As a voter, if these issues are not fully outlined by the task force
and presented on the ballot, I would vote against it.
I believe in this circumstance, 'Haste makes Waste." Please consider delaying the ballot for East Pleasanton until after
the Task Force has made all of the recommendations,so that the voters can decide on a complete proposal.
Thank You,
Kathryn Meier
Pleasanton,CA 94566
1
