NUMBER 154144 <br /> ADOPT PRIORITY PLANT, FOR EXPENDITURE <br /> WHEREAS, the State Beach, Park, Recreation and Historical Facilities <br /> Bond Act of, 1974, if approved by voters at the June 4, 1974, primary election, <br /> would provide 250 million dollars for recreation, open space and historical <br /> activities in the State of California, with $4,226,231.00 being directly <br /> allocated to Alameda County to finance local acquisition and development . <br /> projects in whole or part; and r <br /> WHEREAS, enabling legislation for said kend .Act requires that funds <br /> allocated to the County be expended in conformance with a Priority Plan for <br /> Expenditure developed 4n con u1taticn .with cities nd ajet,-arse .-„ the County <br /> which are authorized to provide park and recreation services, with such plan <br /> being approved by at least 50 ; of said jurisdictions representing at least <br /> 507 of the population of Alameda County; and - <br /> WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors and the Alameda County Parks Advisory <br /> Commission have in consultation with representatives of the various jurisdictions <br /> providing park and recreation services in Alameda County and after numerous <br /> public hearings on the matter devised and agreed upon a Priority Plan for <br /> Expenditure of the funds accruing to Alameda County as a result of the passage <br /> of said Bond Act; • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board does hereby adopt and <br /> forward to the State Secretary of Resources for funding the attached "COUN'i? <br /> OF ALA`EDA PRIORITY PLAN FOR EXPENDITURE," with supplemental lists of projects <br /> to be submitted as available and in time to completely allocate County funds <br /> before June 30, 1975. - <br /> • <br /> • <br /> AUG 28 1974 <br /> • <br /> • CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> PL.ANNINf DEPARTMENT <br /> EXHIBIT A . <br /> p.:- <br />
