THE CITY OF <br /> e- e CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> May 5, 2015 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE 5-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN (FY 2015-2019) AND <br /> ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (FY 2015-16) FOR THE USE OF FEDERAL <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton will receive $268,922 in federal CDBG funds for federal Fiscal Year 2015 <br /> (2015/16). At the April 21 meeting, the Council is also expected to take action regarding <br /> the allocation of federal CDBG funds for FY 2015 as part of the allocation of Housing <br /> and Human Services Grant (HHSG) funding to local non-profit agencies. This report <br /> summarizes the 5-Year Consolidated Plan for 2015-2019 and the Annual Action Plan <br /> for FY 2015 that must be submitted to HUD in order for the City to receive its FY 2015 <br /> allocation of CDBG funds. The report makes a recommendation to approve this <br /> document. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the 5-Year Consolidated Plan for FY 2015-2019 and the Annual Action Plan for <br /> federal Fiscal Year 2015 and direct staff to submit to HUD by the applicable deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City. <br /> As noted earlier, the City will receive $268,922 in CDBG funds for FY 2015 (2015/16). <br />
