Sorry to be a pain, but this is a long term lease which could drastically impact our business and investment. Jennifer, jwallis©cityof pleasantonca.gov I am partial owner of 6602 and immediately next to the unit in question. I will be attending the meeting on the 25h and objecting to the use of this office space. We were approached several months back and told of this tenant possibly being interested in the space. We were told that it would merely be used for professional offices. The employees of the company would be here and vans would be used. The drivers were meeting here in the morning and then to pick up their clients and drop them off at different businesses and locations throughout the area, but there were to be no activities at this site. All parking was to be in back since parking is a problem when all spaces are full, especially now that there is a new and large tenant in the building to the West of ours and they are taking up parking spaces in our building area. I am concerned for: Safety Parking Noise Future sale of our portion of the building. Liability as partial owners in this association. This is a professional office setting and not at all conducive to a school or day care type operation. I would have the same concerns if this was a child care or school type tenant being proposed. A prior owner had a photo studio tenant and fortunately that was open typically on weekends. It was a significant problem for us as co-owners. We also have an issue with others using our parking lot as a short cut. They don't want to wait at the light, so they cheat and in many cases race through our lot in their vehicles. This is almost a daily occurrence which we have addressed with the police, but have been told that since it is private property, there was not much that could be done. I have been a business owner in Pleasanton for over 22 years and never had any issues. I hate to be negative about a great program like this, but with the notice that was sent out, it appears that this is my only opportunity to properly express my grave concerns.
