I am not opposed to this operation, but absolutely opposed to allowing this at our building site. It will be drastically impacting our staff,business and our investment. We have owned Pleasanton Valley Insurance for 22 years and have been in Pleasanton that entire time,without any problems. We purchased a part of 6602 Owens Drive approximately 10 years ago. This proposed tenant will be sharing the wall with us and some of our tenants. I will tell you that if this goes through,we will be moving our offices out of Pleasanton permanently since it will have that much of a negative impact on us. From what I was told,you might hear the same for thing from the third owner of the building. Others in the area are also very concerned and I can obtain their input and signatures if necessary. I will get into further details of why we are opposed later,but was told to Just let you know that we are indeed in no way ok with this plan. Our first notice of the planning meeting was only a week prior, but the actual plans were not available until 5:00pm,the Friday prior to the meeting,leaving only three working days to respond. We were totally mislead on what was to be in that space and the report was in direct conflict with what was represented several months prior. I was told that it would be an office setting with employees and drivers only. I explained at that time that I would be opposed to any drop off or training facility. Some of our issues: Safety— Insurance—liability— • Parking—Traffic Visitors Detrimental impact on our business and sale of our portion of the building.
