In addition to the classes of employees excluded from membership by said Retirement Law,the following classes of employees shall not become members of said Retirement System: NO ADDmOPIAL EXCLUSIONS 6. This contract shall be a continuation of the contract of the fire function of the contract portion of the City of Livermore, hereinafter referred to as °Forcer Agency°. The accumulated contributions, assets and liability for prior and current service under the Former Agency's contract shall be merged pursuant to Section 20508 of the Government Code. Such merger occurred October 31, 1998. 7. The percentage of final compensation to be provided for each year of credited prior and anent service as a local miscellaneous member In employment before and not on or after December 7, 2002 shall be determined in accordance with Secllon 21354 of said Retirement Law (2%at age 55 Full). 8. The percentage of final compensation to be provided for each year of credited prior and current service as a local ndscellaneous member in employment on or after December 7, 2002 shall be detembned in accordance with Section 21354.5 of said Retirement Law(2.7%at age 55 Full). 9. The percentage of final compensation to be provided for each year of credited prior and current service as a local police member entering nrship in the police classification on or prior to July 7, 2012 and for those local fire members entering membership In the fire classification on or prior to December 22, 2012 shall be determined in accordance with Section 213822 of said Retirement Law(3%at age 50 Full). 10. The percentage of final compensation to be provided for each year of credited current service as a local police member entering membership for the first time In the police classification after July 7, 2012 and for those local fire members entering membership for the first time in the fire classification after December 22, 2012 shall be determined In accordance with Section 21383.1 of said Retirement Law(3%at age 55 Full). 11. Public Agency elected and Sects to be subject to the following optional provisions: a. Section 21571 (Basic Leval of 1959 Survivor Benefits) for local police members only.
