She said she believed the cause of the damage to be the pumping of wells beneath Pleasanton, which affected several areas within the city, and expressed surprise that no property owner has initiated a class action suit against the City Of Pleasanton and Zone 7. She encouraged the city and Zone 7 to work together to find a solution to the problem. She also noted the San Jose Mercury News recently reported on a 6-foot wide sinkhole which stopped ACE train service east of the Pleasanton station for several hours. Sabari Samanathan, Amador Valley High School We the People Competition Civic Team, reported that the team recently won the state championship and will be attending the national finals April 22-28'".
