THE CITY Of 8 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT Tv( <br /> pL£ASANTON. <br /> April 21, 2015 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT ON THE <br /> IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GENERAL PLAN HOUSING ELEMENT <br /> FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2014 AND AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL TO <br /> THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT AND THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF PLANNING AND <br /> RESEARCH <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A report on the status of the Pleasanton General Plan Housing Element has been <br /> prepared for the 2014 calendar year, per State law. The report must be approved by <br /> the local legislative body through a resolution and submitted to the State Department of <br /> Housing and Community Development (HCD) and the Governor's Office of Planning <br /> and Research (OPR) within 60 days of April 1st each year. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution accompanying this report <br /> that approves the Housing Element Annual Progress Report - 2014, and authorizes <br /> submittal of the report to the HCD and OPR. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> No financial impact. <br />
