NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The Fire Inspector is ordered to abate the nuisance declared by <br /> Resolution No. 15-734 by causing the weeds, dirt, rubbish and refuse to be removed by <br /> the City or a contractor awarded the work by the City for the removal of weeds, rubbish <br /> or refuse, and for this purpose, the Fire Inspector (and/or the Fire Inspector's designee) <br /> and/or the contractor may enter upon private property to abate the nuisance. Before the <br /> weeds are abated by the City or a contractor, any property owner may remove the <br /> weeds, rubbish or refuse at the property owner's own expense. <br /> SECTION 2. The Fire Department or the contractor, as the case may be, shall <br /> keep an account of the cost of abatement for each separate parcel of land where the <br /> work is done and shall submit to the City Council for consideration, hearing and/or <br /> objections, modification and confirmation, an itemized written report showing the cost, <br /> all as more particularly described by Government Code Section 39574. <br /> SECTION 3. The weed abatement costs, including a 100% administrative <br /> charge, shall be the responsibility of the property owner of the parcel of land where the <br /> work was done. <br /> SECTION 4.
