EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Scope of Work - The work under this Agreement shall consist of the items <br /> contained in this "Scope of Work", including all the supervision, vehicles, labor, materials,tools, <br /> equipment and all other items necessary to complete said work in accordance with the contract <br /> documents. <br /> SECTION 1 <br /> SWEEPING SERVICES <br /> 1-1 Types of Sweeping Services. <br /> 1-1.01 Scheduled Service - The Contractor will furnish scheduled sweeping service for <br /> those streets designated by City at the time of the execution of the Agreement. Residential street <br /> schedules shall be on a monthly schedule and be the same day of the week except for holidays. <br /> All designated streets require sweeping along the curb and gutter, and require sweeping along the <br /> median curb. After the execution of the contract, City may add or delete other streets or portions <br /> of streets at the agreed Agreement rate identified in Attachment A. The City may request a <br /> change in the schedule within seven(7) day advance notice to Contractor. <br /> 1-1.02 Unscheduled Service - The Contractor will also provide, if required by the City, <br /> unscheduled sweeping of any street(s) or portions of streets at a rate identified in Attachment A. <br /> The City will give Contractor a minimum twenty-four (24) hour notice for such unscheduled <br /> sweeping. <br /> 1-1.03 Emergency Service - The Contractor will also respond to emergency calls for <br /> service at any and all times of the day or night every day during the term of this contract within <br /> one (1) hour of being notified to provide such service at a rate identified in Attachment A <br /> 1-2 Frequency of Service - Residential areas shall be swept once per month. <br /> Commercial areas shall be swept twice per month. Designated downtown streets shown on the <br /> maps provided shall be swept twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. <br /> 1-3 Existing Streets—The Contractor shall have sixty days (60) from the execution of <br /> this Agreement to verify the estimated curb miles of the streets shown. The Contractor or the <br /> City may ask for an adjustment to the Agreement price if the actual curb miles, as verified by the <br /> Contractor and agreed to by the Assistant Director of Operations Services (the "Director") <br /> exceeds by five percent (5%) of the estimated mileage by category. <br />
