THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> February 17, 2015 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> TITLE: SECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.36 OF <br /> THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE GROWTH <br /> MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br /> SUMMARY <br /> At your February 3, 2015 meeting, the City Council introduced an ordinance amending <br /> Chapter 17.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning the Growth Management <br /> Program. As part of the Council's action, it directed staff to amend Section 17.36.080 (2) <br /> (c) to further clarify the number of growth management unit allocations that may be <br /> approved by the Zoning Administrator annually through the design review process. As <br /> such, the text below represents the changes made and these are included in the <br /> attached ordinance. <br /> Section 17.36.080 (2) (c): <br /> Notwithstanding part 2(b) above, a total of ten (10) growth management <br /> allocations for housing units subject to the discretionary approval of the <br /> Zoning Administrator as set forth in Chapter 18.20 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, may be approved annually by the Zoning Administrator_ <br /> Council. Any such approval shall require the developer of the project to enter <br /> into a growth management agreement with the City approved by the Zoning <br /> Administrator without the need for City Council approval. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Proceed with the second reading of the attached Ordinance (Attachment A) amending <br /> Chapter 17.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning the Growth Management <br /> Program <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br />
