I/- E IN CITY CO' NCIL OF THE CITY OF Ai7TOi] COUNTY OF AL ia,A, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ORM: ANCE NO 288 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED n ITOAY, DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION NO. 9 , FAIhROUNT6 ANNEX"TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PIEASA TON: WHEREAS, on April 26, 1958, the Council of the City of Pleasanton did }pass and adopt Resolution No. 2759 giving notice of the proposal to annen certain uninhabited territory to the City of Pleasanton, said territory being therein deoignated as "Annexation No 9, Fairgrounds Annexe said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2759 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and -Where the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than fifty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and , .env„ , on June 9, 1958, et the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, said time end place being the day, hour and place fined in said Resolution No. 2759 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of onewhal.f of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private owners of oneohalf of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Pleasanton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda;
