As indicated earlier they will hold a joint meeting with the School Board in March where the primary topic will be the updated demographer's report and development of the East Side. Mayor Thome reported that he relinquished his seat on several committees, one of which he was particularly fond (LAVTA), in favor of accepting his new position as President of the Alameda County Mayors' Conference and a voting position on the LAFCO Board. Councilmember Pentin reported on his new assignment to the League of California Cities' Transportation Committee.
