As indicated earlier they will hold a joint meeting with the School <br /> Board in March where the primary topic will be the updated demographer's report and development of <br /> the East Side. <br /> Mayor Thome reported that he relinquished his seat on several committees, one of which he was <br /> particularly fond (LAVTA), in favor of accepting his new position as President of the Alameda County <br /> Mayors' Conference and a voting position on the LAFCO Board. <br /> Councilmember Pentin reported on his new assignment to the League of California Cities' <br /> Transportation Committee. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:58 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
