MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> December 16, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Narum led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported that the Council met in Closed Session for conference with labor <br /> negotiators regarding negotiations with the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1974 and <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers Association. No reportable action was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS: None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Council <br /> 1. Ratified the Mayor's appointments as follows: Housing Commission: Member Al Lombardo, <br /> Member Tony Soby; Human Services Commission: Member Susan Hayes; Library Commission: <br /> Member Traci Cook (re-appointment), Member Tracy Dunne, Member Stephanie Wedge, <br /> Alternate Sean Lehman; Parks & Recreation Commission: Member David Lambert, Alternate <br /> Joanie Fields; Planning Commission: Member Nancy Allen (re-appointment), Member Gina Piper, <br /> Alternate David Nagler; Youth Commission: Middle School Member Kate Inman; Tri-Valley <br /> Conservancy: David Doyle <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2110 approving the application of Chick-fil- <br /> A, Inc. for Planned Unit Development Major Modification, as filed under Case PUD-96-13-02M; <br /> (6111 Johnson Court, a vacant parcel, and 5225-6015 Johnson Drive) <br /> 5. Accepted public improvements performed by Breneman, Inc. for the Annual Curb and Gutter <br /> Replacement project, CIP No. 135009; authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion, <br /> payment of retention in the amount of $11,352.50 and the transfer of unspent project balance of <br /> $72,648 to the Gas Tax Fund <br />
