31 through 45 minutes 45 minutes <br /> 46 through 60 minutes 60 minutes <br /> 61 through 75 minutes 75 minutes <br /> etc. <br /> An employee assigned to work outside his/her regular shift to attend a meeting or participate in training <br /> shall be entitled to overtime compensation for all hours so worked, provided, however, that the overtime <br /> payment shall be computed at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's eight hour rate of pay in <br /> fifteen (15)minute increments as set forth in the previous table. <br /> Strike team overtime compensation shall be at the 24 hour overtime rate for all of the time spent on the <br /> Strike Team assignment. <br /> An employee held over past the completion of his/her shift due to a trade will be compensated for <br /> overtime at that employee's overtime rate. <br /> An employee having completed his/her regular duty shift and called back to work from home because of <br /> an emergency incident shall, upon reporting to work within a reasonable time after notification and <br /> commencing with the time of notification, receive not less than four hours overtime compensated at one <br /> and one-half(1 and 1/2)times his/her twenty-four(24) hour rate of pay. <br /> A reasonable time is defined as drive time from home plus '/z hour, unless otherwise approved by the duty <br /> chief. <br /> 7.2 Procedures For Filling Absences: <br /> The procedure for determining and filling overtime shall be that contained in the department policy. <br /> 7.3 Overtime Compensation <br /> Overtime shall be paid in conformance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) at any time the FLSA <br /> applies to municipal governments. <br /> The Fire Chief may temporarily assign employees in the classification of Firefighter, Fire Engineer or <br /> Fire Captain to a forty (40) hour week schedule for a full week for the purpose of such employee(s) <br /> attendance at training courses, conferences and/or meetings. During such temporary assignment, <br /> employees shall continue to receive their regular rate of pay as specified below. <br /> A. Suppression/FLSA 7(k) Exempt Employees: <br /> Any authorized time worked in excess of the employee's regular workweek (or FLSA <br /> work period maximum) shall be considered overtime. <br /> B.
