Steven Bocian
From: Caren Courtney GENIMINEESin
Sent: Saturday, October 25, 2014 9:08 AM
To: Steven Bocian
Subject: Dog Park
I am writing to you to share my feelings of dissatisfaction regarding the dog park. YES I have a dog. The
congestion on Bernal on the weekends and in the mornings is ridiculous as it is. Adding the dog park will make
it even worse. There is the Margaret Kain walking trail where they can walk their dogs. So many people
already let there dogs off leash anyway. The parking for the trail is so limited people already park on Laguna
Creek Lane and then take the paved short cut and go walking. We have the low income housing going in which
will add to additional traffic once completed. The reconstructed on/off ramp will not eliminate the traffic. The
barking dogs, traffic congestion, limited parking are issues for the neighborhood. At the Pleasanton Gateway
shopping center there is barely enough parking for the employees that all work there and I have seen some park
there cards along the side streets by the gas station and walk into work. Please reconsider another area. Owners
should be responsible for the well being of their pets not the city. We have enough parks and trails for owners
to walk their dogs in the city.
Thank you,
Caren Courtney
Click here to report this email as spam.
t
