2. If the flow is coming from a manhole, use the San Diego manhole overflow visual estimator <br /> to estimate the flow. (Attachment E). <br /> 3. If the flow is coming from a pump station, use the previous day's flow and pump capacity <br /> to estimate the flow. Refer to SCADA information. <br /> 4. Another Estimating tool is to know that a 5/8 inch residential hose runs at about 11 gallons <br /> per minute. <br /> B. Provide map of problem location <br /> All manhole(s) involved -and where the spill discharged (e.g., storm drain,field, stream). <br /> C.Take photos of events, if possible. <br /> D.
