MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> November 18, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated that Item 5 would be continued to the December 5, 2014 meeting to allow <br /> additional time for notification of the neighborhood. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of October 7, 2014 and special minutes of October <br /> 21 & 27, 2014, and continued regular minutes October 21 for further review <br /> Vice-Mayor Pentin requested further review of the regular meeting minutes of October 21, 2014. He <br /> referred to page 8 of 11, which discussed Goal 1 of the Draft Cultural Arts Master Plan, and recalled a <br /> more thorough discussion on refocusing programming of the Amador Theater in conjunction with <br /> programming at the Firehouse Arts Center than is reflected. <br /> City Manager <br /> 2. Approved an allocation of $235,000 from Lower Income Housing Fund to buy back below market <br /> rate house on Bemal property and prepare for re-sale to qualified low-income family <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 4. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with <br /> Van Meter Williams Pollack, LLP (VMWP) in the amount of $49,040 to update the Hacienda <br /> Regulations and Design Guidelines; and authorized the appropriation of $49,040, increasing both <br /> the Miscellaneous Reimbursable Revenue budget and the Reimbursabe Exenditure budget <br /> 5. Pulled from the agenda - Approve second amendment to the license agreement with Alameda <br /> County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (Zone 7) to modify the location of a public <br /> trail along the south side of Lake I; and approve a maintenance agreement regarding a storm <br /> drain system located near the public trail <br /> 5a. Approved the Final Map, Improvement Plans and authorized the City Manager Subdivision <br /> Agreement and for Tract 7975; Heritage Grove located at 4238 First Street; and accepted all <br /> easements offered for dedication on the Final Map"Councilmember Brown abstained** <br />
