Attachment A Services to be performed Scheduled Service -The Contractor will furnish necessary equipment for scheduled sweeping service for those streets designated by City at the time of the execution of the contract Residential streets schedules shall be on a monthly schedule and be the same day of the week except for holidays. All designated streets require sweeping along the curb and gutter, and require sweeping along the median curb. Unscheduled Service-The Contractor will also provide, if required by the City, unscheduled sweeping of any street or streets or portions of streets. The City will give Contractor a minimum twenty-four(24)hour notice for unscheduled sweeping. tcmeraencv Service-The Contractor will also respond to emergency calls for service at any and all times of the day or night every day during the term of this contract within one(1)hour of being notified to provide such service. Downtown Route— Main Street (from Bemal Avenue North to Stanley Boulevard) shall have the entire street surface swept, from curb to curb, including areas within button-designated medians and the side streets between (Peters Ave. to Main St, First St to Main a, and Railroad Ave. to Main St Downtown sweeping shall be twice a week on Mondays and Fridays between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Parking lots In/near residential areas shall not start prior at 7:00 a.m.and not after 10:00 p.m. Dave and Hours ofOperation-Scheduled service shall be Monday through Friday only. Sweeping of residential areas shall not start before 6:00 a.m.or continue after 4:30 p.m. Commercial areas shall be swept between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sweeping shall be scheduled to ma>dmize the area of street being swept by minimizing interference by parked vehicles. Sweeping shall be scheduled and done in such a way as to minimize noise complaints In residential areas. Holidays-There will be no sweeping on the following observed holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Contractor shall perform scheduled sweeping on the day before said holiday except when that holiday falls on a weekend, then sweeping should be performed the day following the holiday. Sweeping Routes - Sweeping routes shall be adhered to by the Contractor. Sweeping schedules are to be on the same day of the week each month for the specific route, e.g., second Tuesday of each month, etc. Contractor shall submit a calendar schedule designating the routes to the City for its approval. Areas scheduled for sweeping shall not coincide with same day garbage pick-up service. Should the City change the route or schedule, the City should provide the contract with a minimum two-week notice.
