Maria Hoey
From: Steve Otto
Sent Tuesday, November 18, 2014 5:14 PM
To: Maria Hoey
Subject: FW: Pleasanton Heritage Revisit
From: Emilie Iftegalilaiiniamilp
Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 5:08 PM
To: Steve Otto; Karla Brown; Arne Olson; Cheryl Cook-Kallio; Jerry Pentin; Jerry Thorne; Karla Brown; Kathy Narum;
Nelson Fialho;figinagaigaiffla
Subject: Pleasanton Heritage Revisit
To Mayor Thome and Council,
First, thanks for all of your hard work for our City.
I was on the Heritage Task Force and will be unable to attend the Council Meeting tonight. I strongly support the
proposals and feel they are in line with the work done by staff and community members on the Task Force.
I particularly urge you to fund the study by ARG. I believe it will be worth every penny. On the task force, I learned that
citizens and developers of properties downtown often spent upwards of$5,000.00 for a historical survey on their
property. Having the ARG in place will make it easier and more cost effective for owners to improve their
properties. There could also be a large ongoing savings to the City of Pleasanton because their will be less back and
forth with the planning department.
Finally, I like the signage idea a lot. I personally prefer the designation Pleasanton Heritage Neighborhood to apply to all
five neighborhoods.
Emilie Cruzan
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
•
