In particular, the lack of water we are now aware of, and the
need for future planning. Why don't we take this money that is going to be spent on the study right now, and divert it to
help figure out our future water needs? Daniel Smith's assessment of our current water problem is quite the eye
opener. Why don't we try and shelf this Historical District agenda right now? $70,000 could be better spent on the dire
water issue. I think the public would rather see this money go towards the water problems, wouldn't you agree? It may
not be that much money right now, but if we try and make better use of these "little expenditures" here and there, it all
adds up.
Thank you
Chris Beratlis
From:Steve Otto ea
Sent:Thursday, November 13, 2014 4:14 PM
To: Undisclosed recipients:
Subject: Historic Preservation Task Force
Hello Interested Parties,
I wanted to let you know that at the November 18, 2014, City Council hearing next Tuesday, the Council is
scheduled to discuss several items that were brought up at the January 21, 2014, City Council meeting when it
approved the amendments to the City's historic preservation policies and regulations.
