TOWN OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of <br />Pleasanton that the Mayor and Clerk of the Town of ~leasanton <br />be and they are hereby authorized to enter into an extension <br />of the agreement with A. J. CLAUSEN, the Contractor who has <br />entered into a contract for TP!E TM~ROv~',~ENT OF DIVISION STREET <br />AND ST. MARY STREET IN TEE TOWN OF PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />ABOUT 0.4~t MILES IN LENGTH, extending the provisions of said <br />contract to include THE IMPROVEMENT OF ST. MARY STREET FROM <br />TEE WESTERN PACIFIC RAilrOAD CROSSIN3 TO MAIN STREET, A DISTANCE <br />OF 0.18 MILES MORE OR LESS, IN LENGTH, in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications oreoared by John A. Mancini, Civil <br />Engineer, and aonroved by this Council, at the same unit orices <br />bid for the various items of work on the regular contract and <br />the previous modification thereof, where said Contract orovlded <br />for ~ayment on a unit basis, and at unit orices on a unit basis <br />equal to the lump sum prices bid, divided~ by the oreliminary <br />est1~,-ted quantities for said items where the items of work <br />on the regular contract were on a lump sum basis. Provided, <br />however, that said Contractor shall post additional bond in <br />the amount of the estimated cost of said work, for faithful <br />performance and for payment of labor, material and sub- <br />contractors in the doing of said work, in the same manner as <br />provided for in the original contract. <br /> <br />Introduced at the regular meeting of the City Council <br /> <br />of the Town of p~easanton, held on September 21, 1938, by Council- <br />ma~~F~y~ , and upon motion made~ Councilman <br /> , seconded by CoUncilman <br /> <br /> , was carried by the following vote~ <br /> <br /> NOES: Councilmen <br /> <br /> <br />
