ATTACHMENT 1 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING THE 2013/14FY YEAR-END FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE OPERATING BUDGET AND AMENDING THE 2013/14FY OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Operating Budget is presented to Council which includes staff recommendations for budget amendments, and WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, as a result of the year-end financial review, staff made numerous recommendations as outlined in that report. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: Section 1: Amend the 2013/14FY Operating Budget as shown in Attachment 2. Section 2: Fully appropriate June 30, 2014, Fund Balances as shown in Attachment 2. Section 3: Amend the designations of General Fund Reserves for existing and future, known and unknown, obligations as shown in Attachment 2 for all funds and as follows for the General Fund: Year-End Recommended General Fund-Fund Balance Amended Budget Ending Rind Reserve Designations Budget Adjustments Balance 10% Reserve for Economic Uncertainties $9,437,000 $213,000 $9,650,000 Unassigned Fund Balance 3,604,582 1,787,000 5,391,582 Total $13,041,582 $2,000,000 $15,041,582 Section 4: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 2014.
