CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 935 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 2-7.21(2)(I-G General <br /> Industrial District), SUBPARAGRAPH (b) , AND ADDING §2-5.33 <br /> TO CHAPTER 2, OF TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subparagraph (b) of Subsection 2-7.21(2) (I-G General <br />Industrial District) of Article 9, Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II of <br />the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by adding <br />"and other uses involving radioactive materials as defined in <br />§2-5.33 of this chapter," to the category listed as "Nuclear research <br />and development laboratories," said category as amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> "Nuclear research and development laboratories and other <br /> uses involving radioactive materials as defined in §2-5.33 <br /> of this chapter." <br /> Section 2. Chapter 2 (Zoning) of Title II (Zoning and Development) <br /> of the O~dinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by adding <br /> §2-5.33 to this chapter to read as follows: <br /> "Any use which would require the user to obtain a specific <br /> license for activities specified in Code of Federal Regulations <br /> Title 10, Parts 30, 40, 50, or 70, or equivalent requirements <br /> of the State of California. Activities exempted or permitted <br /> by general license are excluded from this definition except <br /> for exemptions for common carriers listed in paragraphs 30.13 <br /> and 70.12 of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations." <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br /> a£ter its final passage and adoption. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation, publishedin the City of Pleasanton- <br /> INTRODUCED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on May 27 , 1980. <br /> ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on June 10 , 1980, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br />,~ATTEST~,~ / ~ / , , /,~ '~ ' <br /> <br /> <br />
