R2SCLUTICK !lO. 1643 <br /> <br /> ~SOLUTION DECLARING RESULT 6F ELECTION. <br /> <br /> W~LEi~AS~ a general municipal election was k~eld and conduct- <br />ed in the Town of Pl easanton on TUESDAY, the 12th day of April, <br />1938, as required by law, <br /> <br /> AL~D WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was <br />duly given, that voting precincts were properly established, that <br />election officers were appointed and election supplies furnished, <br />and that in all respects said election was held and conducted <br />and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the <br />returns thereof, made, determined and declared in time, form and <br />manner as required by the general laws of the state providing <br />for and regulating municipal elections in cities of the fifth <br />and sixth class, <br /> <br /> AND ~!F/~EAS, the city council ~f ~aiu fuwn of Ple~santon <br />met at the Council chamber there on D~onday, the 18th day of <br />April, 1938, to canvass the returns of said election and count <br />the ballots of those absent voters %ho had voted and ins%all <br />the newly elected officers; and whereas %he council finds as <br />a result of said canvass that the number of votes cast, the <br />names of the persons voted for, and other matters require~ by <br /> <br />law, to be as hereinafter stated, now therefore it is hereby <br /> ~qESOLVE~D, determined and declared as follows: <br /> <br /> That said regular municipal election was held and conduct- <br />ed in the Town of ~leasanton, on ?UESDAY, the 12th day of <br /> <br />April, 1935, in time, form and r~anner as required by law. <br /> <br /> That there was one voting precinct established in said <br /> <br />Town for the purpose of holding said election, as follows: <br /> <br /> ~onsolidated Precinct ~'A~' composed of Pleasanton Precincts <br />~os. l, 2 and 3 established for holding s%=te and county <br />elections; <br /> <br /> <br />
