Presentation of a Proclamation proclaiming September 2014 as "Adult Literacy Awareness Month" <br /> Penny Johnson, Senior Librarian, stated that all library staff and volunteers are proud to be celebrating <br /> the 30th anniversary of California State Library Literacy Services, through which public libraries <br /> throughout the state offer free, confidential and one-on-one tutoring in adult basic education.
