NOTICE OF ELECTION <br />_~SC'LUTIC'M NO. 1639 <br /> <br /> '~hereas, in accordance with the provisions of the State <br /> law governing municipal elections, it becomes the duty of the <br /> Council of the Town of Pleasanton to give notice of such <br /> election and to perform such other acts as are required by law; <br /> now therefore <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved by the Council of the Town of Pleasanton, <br />that public notice is hereby given that an election will be <br />held in the Town of Pleasanton on Tuesday, the 12tn day of <br />April, A.D. 1938 for the purpose of electing the following <br />officers: <br /> <br /> Two (2) councilmen to serve for the full term of four <br />years, <br /> <br /> Be it further Resolved that said election be conducted in <br />accordence with law and that said election be held in one <br />precinct to be known as consolicated Election Precinct <br />said consolidated precinct to be composed of the three election <br />precincts in the Town of Pleasanton, the boundaries of such <br />precincts to be the same as those prescribed by the Board of <br />Supervisors of Alameda County for State and County elections; and <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved, that the polling place of said <br />precinct shall be at the Odd Fellows Hall, on the ~outh sMe <br />of St. Narys Street, between biain Street and Ple=santon Avenue <br />in the Town of Pleasanton, California; and that sai= polls <br />shall remain open for eight (~) consecutive hours, to-v, it <br />from 10:30 o'clock a.m. until 6:30 o'clock p.m., and be it <br /> <br /> Further resolved that the town clerk be and he is hereby <br />authorized and instructed to cause to be published in the <br />Pleasanton Times such notices as are required to be publisk~ed <br />by law in conjunction with the aforesaid election; <br /> <br /> <br />
