AB 1147 —8- <br /> 1 (1) One member selected by each statewide association of <br /> 2 private postsecondary schools incorporated on or before January <br /> 3 1, 2010, which member schools have together had at least 1,000 <br /> 4 graduates in each of the previous three years from massage therapy <br /> 5 programs that meet the approval standards set forth in subdivision <br /> 6 (a) of Section 4601, unless a qualifying association chooses not <br /> 7 to exercise this right of selection. <br /> 8 (2) One member selected by the League of California Cities, <br /> 9 unless that entity chooses not to exercise this right of selection. <br /> 10 (3) One member selected by the California State Association <br /> 11 of Counties, unless that entity chooses not to exercise this right of <br /> 12 selection. <br /> 13 (4) One member selected by the Director of Consumer Affairs, <br /> 14 unless that entity chooses not to exercise this right of selection. <br /> 15 (5) One member appointed by the Office of the Chancellor of <br /> 16 the California Community Colleges,unless that entity chooses not <br /> 17 to exercise this right of selection. The person appointed, if any, <br /> 18 shall not be part of any massage therapy certificate or degree <br /> 19 program. <br /> 20 (6) The council's bylaws shall establish a process for appointing <br /> 21 other professional directors, as determined by the board. <br /> 22 (g) At 12 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on September 1, 2015, <br /> 23 the term of each member of the board of directors established <br /> 24 pursuant to subdivision (f) shall terminate, and the terms of 13 <br /> 25 new members of the board of directors who shall be chosen in the <br /> 26 following manner, shall begin: <br /> 27 (1) One member shall be a representative of the League of <br /> 28 California Cities, unless that entity chooses not to exercise this <br /> 29 right to appoint. <br /> 30 (2) One member shall be a representative of the California Police <br /> 31 Chiefs Association, unless that entity chooses not to exercise this <br /> 32 right to appoint. <br /> 33 (3) One member shall be a representative of the California State <br /> 34 Association of Counties, unless that entity chooses not to exercise <br /> 35 this right to appoint. <br /> 36 (4) One member shall be a representative of an antihui.,..1c <br /> 37 trafficking antihuman-trafficking organization to be determined <br /> 38 by that entity unless that entity chooses not to exercise this right <br /> 39 to appointment. <br /> 90 <br /> • <br />
