ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> This First Amendment to Agreement is entered into this 15th day of July 2014 <br /> by the City of Pleasanton ("City") and Carlson Management, Inc. ("Consultant") <br /> Whereas, on August 20, 2013,the City and Consultant entered into a Professional Services <br /> Agreement for consultant services for the I-580/Foothill Interchange Improvement , CIP No. <br /> 095034 and I-680Bernal Avenue Interchange Improvements, CIP No 005068 ("Agreement"); <br /> and <br /> Whereas, additional construction management, inspection and testing services have been <br /> required, and <br /> Whereas,delays in awarding the construction contract for the 1-680 Bernal Avenue Interchange <br /> Improvements project have necessitated an extension to the contract termination date; <br /> Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Section 4 of the Agreement, "Term"is amended to: <br /> Change the contract termination date from September 2014 to April 30, 2015. <br /> 2. Section 5 of the Agreement, "Compensation" is amended to: <br /> Increase the total compensation amount by$87,000 from $666,377.62 to <br /> $753,377.62. <br /> 3.
