FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE I-580/FOOTHILL <br /> ROAD INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, CIP NO. 095034 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Staff is requesting City Council approval for the First Amendment to the Professional <br /> Service Agreement with Carlson Management, Inc. to complete the construction <br /> management services for the subject project. There have been significant changes in <br /> the scope and duration required for this project. Staff worked with Carlson <br /> Management, Inc. to determine work and time necessary to complete the project and <br /> negotiated this amendment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve the attached Amendment No.1 to the Professional Services Agreement with <br /> Carlson Management, Inc. to provide construction management services in the <br /> amount of$87,000 and extend the contract termination date to April 30, 2015. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached Amendment No.1. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Amendment No. 1 shall increase the project cost by $87,000. This additional cost will <br /> be paid using project contingency; therefore no additional fund allocation is needed. <br />
