An important part of this Conference is the Annual Business Meeting. At this meeting, <br /> the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish League policy. <br /> In order to vote on the proposed resolutions the City Council must designate a voting delegate <br /> in advance of the conference. <br /> The current Council representative to the League of California Cities East Bay Division is Mayor <br /> Thome and consistent with past practice, he would serve as the voting delegate. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Designate Mayor Thome as the City's voting delegate for the 2014 League of California Cities <br /> Annual Conference. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br /> Submi ed by <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
