Councilmember Brown reminded the public that today is Election Day. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Vice-Mayor Pentin reported that he and Councilmember Narum attended the Train Safety event <br /> in Livermore that day, where they discussed the dangers of trains mixing with bicycles, <br /> pedestrians and cars. Organizers presented new safety marketing materials, which seem <br /> particularly important in light of several recent tragedies. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:38 p.m. The Council extended <br /> a tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
